I'm not listing the prices, but the 1537-1 by a wide margin.

Next would be the 1117 Deluxe Balladeer/Legend, followed by the Tornado.

Gertrude, the ol' lady, my 1111-4; all I had to do was marry the owner. :D

Most any early solid-top with a 5-piece neck will be an excellent guitar for the price.

According to the fact that Ovations are still much more expensive in germany than they are "at home" - my best deal was the JL3.

I paid 1800 Euro (today 2.300 USD) brandnew for it - what is a bargain over here - and I got the best wood top O I ever had or have heard.

When it comes to Adamas: My beloved 1687-9 I got from this multiple character guy. He'll never forget the guitar, I'll never forget he gave it to me!

Best regards,
Kurt

Picked up a Celebrity Deluxe CC267 (made in 1995 w/OP24+ preamp) with original case for $275.00 USD.

A couple of hairline cracks in the enamel, but frets and fretboard look like they've barely ever been touched on this.

The strings even looked ok, but I re-strung it anyway (who sells a guitar with new strings on it?) and am very pleased with the purchase.

Can't wait to get home and play the thing some more.

I've been struggling for the answer to this one because it seems to be "all of them". I thought about the JL3, or the K-1111 Reissue, or the 1537, or the 2007BCS, maybe the 6759, or the 2171, even the 2000C ... and definitely the OFC Ding-O came to mind. But without a doubt, the answer is the 82 Collectors I got from Schiz-O ... yeah, it's definitely been ridden hard and put away wet way too many times, and the tuners were changed out, and the electronics are gone, but damn ... it's still a deep bowl O with a AAA top, great neck, and mojo in spades. I got it for less than a decent sushi dinner with the missus. It can go anywhere without any fear of hurting it in any way. It kills every other beach guitar out there. Hell, it kills 95% of every other gutar out there, period.

It is a hard pick between my Legend ($203 shipped to my door from fleabay) or my Pacemaker at $400, both with cases included. Now if I could just pick up a cheap Elite o a cheap Viper... :D

It would have to be the '81 Balladeer I bought from a fellow OFC member about 6 months ago. It was $500, but it was in unplayed condition. Not a mark on it, no fretwear, no pick scratches, nada. This guitar sat somewhere unplayed for 28 yrs. THAT was money well spent.

That's a tough choice. I bought a Legend(1117-4) a couple years back for all of $150 w/hsc. It had an aftermarket PU added. Also bought a Korean Balladeer for $85 w/hsc. Basically bought the case and got the guitar for free.
