Hey all, the surgery went well to repair my torn Triceps Tendon, the cast came off last Tues. and the stitches come out tomorrow. The cut is fairly large, about 6" from the base of the elbow, up the back of my left arm with a smaller cut right at the elbow where the screw was placed to hold it all together.
I have been playing for about an hour a day since the cast came off with hardly any pain, I'm sure I will feel even better once these stitches are gone. Hopefully I will be ready for a Jan.3rd Gig!

Wow. That's more than I play and I don't have any excuse. Great result.

Ed, a word of caution. Don't try to over do it, even though you think it's OK. If you re injure it, it will take forever to mend.

I know how you feel: take it from one who knows, give it time to heal...the guitars will be there for you...
Get better!
Have a great new year!

Congrats! Take MM's advice and let it heal. Once the doc gives the OK, then hammer away.
