+1 on that, gets me salivating.
I just don't see what other people see in these guitars. They may sound awesome, but visually, they do absolutely nothing for me. I'm being polite today...

That c/a sunburst that Dave (Toby) posted gets me excited. I also think the 05ES is beautiful. I'm slowly going off the multihole models.

There's a line for the cutaway sunburst. Take a number and go to the back.

Mine's not particularly loud.

Its hard to describe the tone...it sounds like an Ovation, only darker.

Its the only acoustic guitar I own, and the best looking Ovation of all!

Oooohhhhh...

Brown Adamas GAS... again, doh!

Big D's 12 string is right up there in the top 10 for acoustics!

For me there is no (original) solid body better looking than the Messina Deacon

...which inspired the best looking non-originals known to man - the "Woody's".

Wood is good! Nice work, Michael!

And nice work, Al! I gotta agree that those LAV Koas are gorgeous.

Check it out... Even Woody's cat has nice grain.

I meant to post this earlier but was traveling etc when this was hot.

Anyone who comes into my loft and sees the various guitars hanging about, ALWAYS tend to gravitate to my 2000C (well, once they get past the Deacon 12). I know the guitar is just a repackaged Elite with some fancy bit and a lam top sort of a celebrity on steroids blah blah blah ... but ...

Check out the 6 ply binding, the beautifully bound fretboard, the incredible figuring of the rosewood board, a very elegant scroll style maple and ebony inlay, and of course the lacewood top

Really ... have you EVER seen a more beautiful fretboard. And it is smooth and plays so great ...

Forget the normal walnut Ovation bridge. On this one it is a killer piece of rosewood with figuring that matches the fretboard. Pictures don't really do it justice. It is really set off by the lacewood top ...

And speaking of the top ... it is like one of those 3D pictures you stare at and when your eyes adjust, it looks like it's an inch deep.

The headstock has a lacewood overlay that latched the top. With the gold foil logo and gold machines, it's a very nice look. I replaced the stock gold buttons with pearloids. I like 'em better.

They say that the devil is in the details. I'm still trying to figure out what this guitar top really is. This inside view of the top KILLS all of my other Ovations. Period.

So there you go. Even between the OFC and my CL12 (which has the best spruce top of ANY guitar I've ever seen), the 200C still darws all the oohs and aahs from the visitors to my guitar loft.

Well you should just relinquish the OFC then Bobbo. I'll tell ya what, I'll find a nice laminated top with a pretty veneer, and we'll trade! ;)

Or my pocket Ovation?

The KOA Lav has to very near the top if not the top. Sharky is dibbling.

Twistedlim, if Kaki King and Freddie Kruger had a baby and the baby played guitar, the guitar would look like yours.

Thanks, Catweazle, for chosing MY Koa.

And yes, for those intestereds - the guitar above is still for sale!

But I have nicer ones, that are not for sale. Never!:

Best regards,
