Location: Michigan | Just as I was picking up my used Ovation Legend (see other post), I spotted an old Applause series roundback - the one with the all aluminum neck (frets, fingerbaord and neck all one piece - bad idea; kind of like the Chevy Vega of guitars). Odd thing is that Applause was one of the first guitars I owned (not the one in the store - that one was pristine. It looked new and it actually played really well). Funny how the day I pick up my second roundback I run unto my first. Oh, and I used to own a Vega, too. Mike |
