Hey guys, I'm an electric player mostly. I've got a stock Electric Legend 1869 I bought new in 1994. It doesn't get much use at all, but I figured I'd come here and look around, see if I get motivated to play her more.

Thanks Miles. I'm going to head to some stores right now and try some well setup acoustics, see if mine's playing as it should. It's lived in a case way too long.

Wow... My bad. I put new Elixer Nano strings on her, adjusted the truss rod slightly, pulled out a bridge shim (action got too low, I put it back) and I realized it's a Legend 1767, not an 1869. I've always just called it an "Ovation Electric Legend". Anyway, I'm still an electric player and have a bunch of those, but after playing iut for a few days, I'm thinking for acoustic the Taylors might be more my style. hmmm

Yeah it was. I bought some other electric guitar equipment and a wider folk neck acoustic now. I guess it's back to the closet for the Ovation...
