I'm looking at getting one of these tomorrow and it looks like it's from the 70's. Any and all information on these would be appreciated. Thanks!

It depends on when in the 70's for my opinion to be accurate. They were braced different in the early 70's vs. the late 70's, but I've owned many of each and like them both for different reasons. If you're getting a good specimen, I think you'll be very happy. There are several Legend fans on this site. In my mind, the Legend IS the classic Ovation sound that got everyone from Cat Stevens to Paul McCartney to John Lennon to Al DiMeola (And the list goes on for freekin ever) into playing roundbacks.

If you have a more specific question, fire away.

Welcome! Feel free to go say hello to folks throughout the site.

Welcome aboard!

You should be made aware that not everyone can respond to questions in the welcome section, so be sure to float over to General Posting and ask away. It would help if we had the serial number to date the guitar.

Though different bracings yield variations in tone of course, I've yet to play a deep bowl Legend that I didn't like.
