Easy question, I just got a little confused: Ovation folklore guitars have metal strings, not nylon right? I mean no "classical" strings, so it has a metal rod in the neck?
thanx for your answers!

Yes, definitely a steel string guitar.

Is not $250 a cheap price for it? That takes Folklores on the same level as Celebrities, yet i would reckon they're somewhere between Balladeers and Legends, is that not true?

Very good price. The Folklore isn't really "between" other models. It is a fingerstyle guitar that I think sounds as good as anything.

That would be more likened to a Legend.

That is just a Starting Bid. That doesn't make it a lesser guitar.
This is a Auction, so the price could go up... or Not.

I have a 35th Anniversary that I got for $299.99, and that was a Buy It Now...
But it was only up for a coupla hours before I saw it.

Just cuz I got a Good Deal doesn't make it a bad guitar.

Someone could get a Good Deal on this one, if they are Lucky.

--edit--
I'm Sorry... I didn't look at This,

So I guess if you are near Middletown NY you could just go BUY it for $300.
That sounds like a Plan!

Blikpatrik, be aware that a folklore has a significantly wider neck that your average acoustic 'folk' guitar.
I have the older style Folklore which is similar dimensions to a classical, but with a radiused fretboard and steel strings.

BTW that's a GREAT price for that guitar. If i was stateside id snap it up.

The price you pay for an Ovation doesn't reflect it's worth to those that appreciate them.
