Thanks!
If I can ever figure out how to post a sound sample, and get someone competent to play it...........it truly has a BIG voice.

OK, so this is what happened to the Rogue carcass. I just couldn't throw it out. So, I glued all the neck cracks back together, laboriously carved the square neck into a round one, replaced the plywood top with a cedar version, with an inlaid rosette, used an Ovation bridge & ganged-up 3 saddles to fit the hole where a wide-bottom sensor SHOULD have gone, and pasted the whole mess together.
I included the side-by-side with the REZXII, as the Rogue was the hardware donor for the 12-string project. I can imagine hearing the redone Rogue using Danny Devito's line from the movie "Twins", "You mean, I'm the crap?!"

As I know we both agree that the Journey is the best part I commend you for your efforts!
Another Box/Bowl saved is a worthy prize in of itself.
The fact that it is a playable piece of craftsmanship is awesome as well.

Do you need a little piece of Koa to um... extend that Bridge a bit or is that where the Abalone goes?

Hmmmm...........abalone.
Might be "gilding the lily" a bit, or perhaps putting lipstick on a pig, but whaddya got in mind, in terms of extending the bridge? Wider, or longer? I've got a couple of hand-built FET preamps, so I could make it A/E, and make some bolsters for a thinline piezo.
I'm waiting to see if the the critter handles the stress for a few months. Leveling the frets on a bar-slide instrument was some effort. A good & level fret installation was apparently not a high priority in its manufacture.
