FOR SALE: TAKAMINE EC132SC CLASSICAL

Up for sale is my personal classical guitar - TAKAMINE EC132SC

This guitar is in immaculate condition (owing to the fact that I NEVER play it). Needs to find a good home. There is nothing negative I can say about this instrument - plays great, sounds great, looks great, etc. etc. etc. I could just never master it.

Has the CT4B-II preamp which is absolutely a winner. If you are in search of a serious classical guitar for acoustic or live plugged in work you will have a hard time doing better than this

- Classical cutaway body
- Solid Cedar top beautifully aged and toned
- Solid Rosewood back and Rosewood sides
- Rosewood fretboard with 12 frets clear to body
- 2" Classical nut width
- CT4B-II Preamp system
- 3 band graphic EQ and chromatic tuner

The only issue is that I can not find the original case (if you saw my collection you would understand) so I am offering the guitar with a very cool GUILD OM hardshell deluxe case. See photos. The OM size case is just a tad wide in the shoulders so I will add extra padding. But except for that this Guild case is about 100% better than any standard Takamine case.

Also interesting is that the model number on the label inside the guitar had an extra character on the end that was covered or whited out. I have no idea what this could have been. Maybe a typo?

Price is $850. shipped and insured to your address in the 48 US States. Email me with any questions

THANKS

Do you offer "the convenient layaway plan"? Oh how I wish my funds were in better shape right now!!! These are GREAT guitars and that is an insanely low price!

I don't have either. But it's always like this, When I have money to spend, guitars I want are hard to find. When I'm broke, there are always lots of guitars I want.

Thankfully, there are many newbies here who might be unfamiliar with Standing Ovation's history. As far as selling goes, the man has a penchant for understatemnt. If he describes an instrument as "great", then the attribute is darn close to perfect.

I've never been good with the classical 2" nutwidth. And I already have a project perking at the mothership, so funds are short. But I can honestly say, if Dave is selling it, I wish I could buy it.

Good luck with the sale.

That is a fact. Standing's guitars are always either exactly how he describes them, or often better. And this particular guitar is a rich, beautiful sounding classical (I have played them before) at an unbelievably low price. Just Google the model number and you will see what I mean. If any of you have been considering a classical, this is the one you want to get.

That rosewood grain pattern on the back is pretty awesome.

This is a really nice classical guitar unplugged. I had one and it had tremendous sustain, as well as rich response. Brad "Buster" Jones played one on one of his instructional DVD's.
