This is the one that was built originally for Alpep, so it's really more than just #1 of 8, it's a piece of history for both the Ovation Fanclub and Ovation. The guitar is mint, and I don't use that term lightly. Specificaitons:
These were limited to 8 guitars. I see this guitar as a modern version of the Adamas for those that are into the look and who like the option of the db switch for lead playing.
$5195.00 gets it shipped to your doorstep.

So I guess it's not only #1 of 8, it's also the prototype. It went from Al to one other person who I traded with because I had #2 of the OFC I guitar and that was more their style and this more my style and I really wanted #1. I don't think AL or the other person put more than a few hours on it if that combined, and I have maybe put a couple hours on it as well.

I haven't even told Lisa that I'm selling it yet. I'm also throwing in the iDea PreAmp that I got for it in addition to the original. It works great and has only been used to test to see that it works. I'll also throw some additional SWAG in the box just because whomever gets this guitar deserves it.

These are the ats cass for playing out. A quick sea story about the swoosh.. When I first saw the 2080, I knew it was the guitar for me. It was at the factory and as I was meeting Darren who as I understand had a big part in the design. The first thing I mentioned to him was that I loved the subtle detail of the "swoosh" matching the countour bowl and the sound hole and such and somewhat bringing it all together. I think he was surprised that I "got it" as most people see it and think Nike... Not me... The first time I heard the Nike reference I had to go look up to see what their logo is.. To me, it does and always will represent what I believe is one of the best design changes to the Adamas since its inception.

Whoever buys this is going to be a very happy camper! I have wanted one of these since Al announced them originally, but the timing and finances have never been right for me. I almost sold my 47RI to pay for one, but I just couldn't do it. Best of luck with the sale and with everything else as well. Somebody buy this!

I was under the impression that it was actual Carbon Fiber, probably over a regular case with a protective coating. Regardless it makes an already pretty durable case near bulletproof. Maybe Alpep can chime in as I remember he had the custom made.

I have often regretted not jumping on one when Al offered them originally. I even considered selling 4 guitars to finance yours. Best of luck with the sale.
