| Hello all,
I am returning after a rather long hiatus. I was a member way back in '05, and although I was not a prolific poster I certainly enjoyed reading the threads.
I'm glad to see some familiar names are still around :-)
While I was here I learned a great deal about our beloved Ovation guitars, and I actually acquired a couple (a 1597 Adamas and a 1111-1) that have kept me very happy.
I did not intentionally leave OFC so much as I just devoted my time to other things, such as putting together a wood shop.
Recently I have developed a yen for a 12-string, and am looking at a 1758... I'll let ya know how that turns out.
Meanwhile, I'll be back on this wonderful forum, lurking and learning :-) |

| Hi MWoody, good to be back!
As for my favorite tool, I'd have to go with my Grizzly table saw, the centerpiece of the shop. My big planer was twice as expensive and is indispensable, but not nearly as versatile.

| In addition to the table saw, the wood mill is pretty nice to have, too. |

| By the way, I hope someone here snags that 9-string on eBay... |
