Location: Munich, Germany | These guitars (not this guitar) show up from time to time on ebay, especially on the german bay. They also have been discussed before on the board. I even think that one of our members has one of them.
I don't remember, if they were a GC model, for overseas production or something else. The only thing that separates this one from the others I have seen is the split saddle. All of them had this kind of headstock logo.

Not to say they aren't nice...
In fact, they are kinda nice. Only funny thing about this one is the description. LX neck? Elites with round soundholes? Leaf pattern that showed up later on the Custom Elites only?

There is an absence of the Ovation name on the head stock; instead there is an "open O" in the logo which is actually a C for their "Custom Shop"
It's the same open 'O' as the ones in all the inlaid Ovation logos..

I got a laugh too about the description. But, it has to be true...he got it from the world's living expert on guitars! :D |
