We never sent in the warrantee card for the daughter's O. Can we still send it in and activate the lifetime warrantee? There aren't any problems with the guitar, but it would be nice to have that peace of mind down the road.

2 years-ish. We do have the original receipt in a file cabinet somewhere.

You have the recipt in so I'd think there would be no problem.
I would register it to the name that is on the receipt.

I would also enclose a copy of the receipt.

Pretend you didn't wait, just send it in.

Of course you should send in the card. After all you just bought it last week (wink wink).

I asked the service manager of a major guitar company located in the northeast what they did with the cards. "They're put in piles, bundled up with rubberbands and thrown in that big box over there."

Draw your own conclusion.
