| I did not see these guitars until the posted shots from the Namm Show you went to Al. I did not know Ovation had these. I am curious and will try one out if the guy who is supposed to be representing ovation locally actually gets one for me to try. |

Location: Capital District, NY, USA Minor Outlying Islands | Don't know how it sounds, but I've played a fender tele with P-90's. So I suppose there's a little bit more background hum than the humbucker version, but more brightness and snap, which could be perceived as twang. I can't imagine it sounds too different then the original unless they've changed the scale length and electronics? Since the scale length of 25.25, is closer to the fender scale length than the fender, I'd say it'll probably improve the sound. |
