Brainslag "All" digital means no "hard" medium. CD's are moribund. ;)

My best generation gap story took place this christmas break. My 24 year old son is home visiting and we're playing some guitar. He asks ME to help him with the intro to "Here Comes The Sun" and I ask HIM what's the chord progression to "I Alone". Odd.

the nephew later told me they said to him "hey that guy on lead isn't too bad"

it made me laugh

Hey Al, I think you paraphrased ...

Didn't they really say "hey that old guy on lead isn't too bad" ???

One benefit to the generation gap: next time you're at a cashier and the bill is, say, $18.46, give the kid a twenty, then produce a penny AFTER he's entered the twenty into the register's computer. You might get all kinds of money back, but at the very least you'll be entertained but his utter lack of comprehension as to what to do now.

This has happened to me, Kid asked me what he owed me? He was so scarred I think I could have told him anything and he would have just given it to me. I told him it was 2 dollars even, he quickly grabbed the money to get me gone. Actually felt bad for the kid, lip ring and all.

A buddy and I were driving around, pickup some beer, put gas in the car, etc., and listening to Live Cream at a pretty good volume. Some guy at the gas station says, "Wow, that's badass! What is that?
"The Cream"
"Cool! Are they new?"
"Uh...yeah." and we drove off.
