i was really wandering if anyone else out there had one, and maybe tell me what they think about it. The guitar was given to me by an older guitar player from my church, and he did a little work to it, like replacing the humbuckers and redoing some of the wiring. I've only had it for two years, have a little trouble with the sound while playing higher on the frets. I'd like to know how much its worth, i have no ambition on ever selling it, i just don't really know much about it. itchymitchy66@gmail.com

I've got a Deacon/Breadwinner LTD, original owner, my favorite axe, only bought other guitars over a fixation with whammy bars. Without the original pickups and pre-amp probably not worth a lot, and absolutely a crying shame as far as I am concerned. No troubles with sound or higher frets, not sure what you mean on that. So, what pickups and wiring did this fool put on it?

i have no idea what parts he put on it. it really does sound great though, definitely my favorite guitar. I wish it was still kept to all the original parts, but i guess i can see if maybe i can order the original pickups and wiring, but i'm sure its not likely.

My BW LTD is in moderate shape, all original, and plays as well as expected, but is probably my least favorite solid Ovation. Maybe that is because the other solids are in outstanding condition.

Or you're allergic to the pre-amp.
