No wonder I missed them. I figured it would be the weekend before Memorial Day weekend, May 17 this year. I guess I better not confirm those reservations.

I'm on a roll here - I want it near the mountains. Last of the Mohicans territory.
Although if beal is going I won't make it as we are destined never to meet.

Jeff has a message for you when you meet for the RT gig, cliff. Enjoy.

BTW he's been driving me crazy all day counting down (from 10 hours to go...) to tonight's gig.
I don't know why he doesn't just marry the guy.

Anybody who comes to do a concert in Boise at the Egyptian Theater is alright in my book. He actually is quite good.

I tried to adopt the British flair for understatement. Too much? If I said I liked him better than the Beatles, would that do it? At least I can't say that I wouldn't go across the street to see him, because I only had to go across the street to see him. How far are you travelling, Jeff?

Roger McGuinn was supposed to play at the Egyption on Friday, but he cancelled, just because he broke his arm. I would have crossed the street to see him, too.

For those who have not yet made a tour, the Hamer visit is also enlightening. This is truly a unique opportunity to see a full blown custom shop filled with skilled craftsmen and women hosted by none other than the company founder himself. The custom Adamas shop, literally an open corner in one of the Ovation factory rooms, was a real eye opener. The area devoted to the brand is unbelievably quaint, with, what, maybe a half dozen workers at most in an area about the size of your living room. Efficient teamwork is a must. There is so much to see that I have to believe a second or third walk-through would allow one to see things missed the first time or two.
