Yeah, Mr. Favre didn't get it. I thought the Pats versus the Pack would be a good game, and I'd love to see Favre teach Brady a few things about leading a football team.

10-0 on the road this year beats the Pats record as I read it. Go Giants!

Didn't they say last night that the half time show would be Tom Petty?

Congrats, CrimsonLake, on the Giants win. My first thought was that I bet Nicky is happy.

ZZTop did (lip-synch'd) the HalfTime Show once before . . . Sucked,BigTime.

I'm with Bill.
I'll spend GameDay at BlockBuster (at least there'll be a decent selection) . . . .

I have a somewhat faithful tradition of going skiing on Superbowl Sunday.

Every year there is a Superbowl game and it never affects my life in anyway except last year we were invited to a Superbowl party. I thought Prince did an alright job last year.

Prince was killer...no lip-syncing there. And under tough conditions (pouring rain). Totally professional.

I'm a little curious about the TP show. I've been a fan for 30 years. This doesn't seem like his kind of venue.

Me too, not interested. The game really means nothing to me. As usual, I'll probably watch the half time show, and the last 10 minutes so I'll know who won the office pool.

Jas - Nick was happy though only paying partial attention to the game. He had a friend sleeping over (day off today) so they were busy with Guitar Hero and Halo.

This year looks like a Boston trifecta for pro sports. I don't know if it's ever been done before. Back when I was in junior high school, the Jets won Superbowl III, then the Mets won the World Series in '69 followed by the Knicks NBA win for the '69-'70 season. That may have been as close as any city has gotten.

If the last Giants and Patriots game is any indication, this should be a good SB.

The line this morning was 13 1/2 points (Pats over Giants).

This is right up with talking Politics/Religion...

But I wanted the Packers to win. They are a great "Legacy" team, and in a Super Bowl between the Packers and the Patriots, I would be enthusiastic...
And I would be satisfied with whoever won.

Now I just want the Giants to lose... Cuz they are from New York!
I am from New England... That they are from New York is reason enough not to like them. :D

Just kidding... it's all good fun.

The office pool is sort of random. I don't know if they have it in England but we call it "squares." There are spaces numbered 0-9 across and 0-9 down. So you try to pick the last two digits of the final score. It works well for football and basketball games. Makes the secretaries happy (and me) because you don't need to know anything.

Odds? Forget about it.
