Looks like Martin is coming out with signature models commemorating every person that ever lived I used to feel the same as you about all the signature models. Man, enough is enough. But then I learned that for these signature models Martin donates the proceeds to the charity choosen by the artist. To date they have nonated many millions of dollars to worthy causes. That gained a lot of respect from me. The other thing to keep in mind is that they don't make many of them. There have been lots oif different ones, but each is only a few hundred guitars. I am sure that all orders are filled before or after NAMM, so these truely are rare pieces and if you CAN find one at a dealer or used on ebay you're gonna donate dealer for it. Don't confuse these hand signed signature models with the couple of regular artist models like the Clapton 00028 or the Johnny cash D35 which are regular production guitars. Man, I sound like one of those biased guitar brand defenders ... Dave

Hamer and Takamine was decently represented, as well as the GB amps. Although the Ovation website has a 2008 price list dtd 1/08, didn't see brochures or price list for Ovation/Adamas. Fender will distribute Taylor guitars in Europe.

A lot of that stuff gets shipped in (thru us) as "live freight" (cartons and/or skids). The carpet gets dropped (usually by us) first, then the booth comes in (either by us or and an indepenent I&D co.) along with the furniture (if any). Usually, the ancillary freight hits last. Unfortunately, stray cartons of publications rattling around the receiving area during exhibitor move-in (or the first day of the show) "happens" . . . It's "Show-Biz".
