Why, Paul? Should the owners of the originals be ticked that they used it on the 47RI or OFC? Did using that board de-value either the 47RI or the OFC at all? I wouldn't think so. They're all fantastic guitars that stand up on their own IMHO.

Paul will get over it. He gets SO attached to things. Still owns every guitar he's ever bought. How crazy is THAT?

Dave

PS - As always Paul, THANK YOU for a great party. Great food, drinks, fun, people and guitars. I really enjoyed it.

PSS - Thanks Bobbo for bringing the EF75. I was getting tired of all those other guitars slipping off my knee.

In the meantime we know the sales prize of the 2008 Collector's in Europe. The cheapest offer I have seen so far is 3,600 Euro (= $5,250). Right, it's the sales prize not the list prize. They say that 10 specimen are destined for the German market. I'm curious how many of them they will sell.

In the old days we'd call that left over inventory and prudent management of assets.

consider this your warning.
I am very tired of seeing prices here. Dealer prices cannot be advertised unless they are map.
YOu have repeatedly posted false information and conjecture. It will not longer be tolerated.

As for the 08 collectors

it is a great guitar. all the class of the 47 ri with the modern stuff that makes it appeal to someone doing a gig. keep the 47ri at home gig with the 08 collectors .

that is my plan.

btw the namm floor was so loud that the top and neck on the 08 just vibrated. it was that alive.

really nice guitar

Interestingly, down in the fubars (Hall E) there was a manufacturer showing a prototype Cacaphone.

I am confused here - anyone can search out prices and have put them on this board but Mike is being warned. Your days are numbered Mike.
