Location: Location Location Location | Well for my money, it's the 1778-T. I bought one several months ago. I love it. I didn't play my D-28 anymore, so I sold it and bought another 1778-T! Does anyone else think this is the best guitar for the money to have come around in a long time? |

Location: Location Location Location | It's like a no frills guitar. I thought the coating was a little weird first too; then I realized how easy it was to keep this guitar clean, and the surface just seems durable and easy to play on; no smudges. I like the mid sized body too; it's got bass but it's also balanced. Sounds nice fingerpicked, or you can just wail (whale? wale?) on it. I haven't even plugged it in so I don't know what the electronics are like. I'll have to do that. |

Location: The Great Pacific Northwest | Am I missing something?? Maybe others are, but i just find discussion about the finish of the 1778T odd. The finish is WHY it's a 1778-T. If you want a more traditional finish, you get a 1778. The whole I idea was that you get a top of the line 1778 USA Ovation for an affordable cost (like 35% cheaper) mainly because they put a plain finish on it. |

I was standing in the kitchen with an assault rifle in hand as he drove up the driveway in the dark. After his headlights shined through the kitchen window, she jumped out and he spun his tires in reverse. She came in and said I scared the crap out of him. He never returned. Another kid decided to come over when one of the girls was on restriction and he thought I was gone. They decided to take a walk out on the back acreage. I followed them and started a volly of target shooting with my 45 about 50 yds from where they were sitting. He never returned either. Now the kids are all married, so I can rest until the grand children hit their teens. |
