Sorry Kurt, Karl ordered some too. I think I'm getting a case of senile dyslexia.

Yeah, and here I am. I waxed the walnut buttons and mounted them on my OFC. It looks like they have ever been there. Great addition, thanks Paul!

The walnut on the OFC look terrific. I may have to do that as well. Received a couple of Temp's sets myself, yesterday. Installation comes this weekend.

These are full size. And don't forget to wax or oil them, otherwise the button wood differs from the neck wood.

I wish I could take close up photos as well as some of my fellow OFCers, but here are a few more examples of Temp's custom buttons. The first pic shows the layered ivoroid buttons on the custom Koa VXT with the layered ivoroid binding from the Hamer shop. The match is nearly perfect. The headstock also now has a custom Koa TRC thanks to Al and our good friends in New Hartford. The second pic is of Al's Koala guitar with faux tortoise buttons. I was hoping these buttons would match the binding, but they are a bit more brown than red. On the plus, they are a very close compliment to the grain in the Koa top. Now I'm after a walnut set for the OFC guitar.

Brad. The problem with your photos is that there is always SOOOOO many guitars in the background. But that's a pretty NICE problem to have. Enjoy.

No kidding. No wonder the camera has trouble focusing. I have the same problem when I look at your pics.

Paul;

I might be interested in a set of the Walnuts myself . . .

If I take the original gold buttons off the Slothead & stash 'em away, they'll stay . . well, . . "original". . .

e-mail me when y'think y'might have some available . . . no rush . . .

Guys, can anyone who wanted buttons, either to pick up at the NAMM show or for me to ship from the US while I'm over, please drop me a quick email reminder. I'm packing tomorrow and leaving Wednesday morning. (Dave, Bill, Bobbo, Miles, Prof and anyone else)

Thanks
