BegginJimBob, I'll probably sing some opera tunes on the way down for your enjoyment!....Like.....
One of George Bizet operas " Carmen " or maybe a few pieces from Mozart's operas "Don Giovanni", "Cosi Fan Tutte" or "Le Nozze Di Figaro" (I'm sure you'll recognize that tune! ;) )....That is if I can get Jas to do the alto parts!.....If not, I'll probably just do some aria's of Merle Haggard or Willie...... :D

That's the Harlen song I was thinking of. Real good tune.
We just got back and went down to watch at the Mermaid. It' was nice to go there and not be sweating!
We'll go to your house first Serge, unload the important stuff and get to the clothers later, much later

It seems like he's in Am, but Patty Loveless in in Gm and Brad Paisley was in D.
They all use different chords just to make it fun.
Which ones do you guys use?

Beal,
I do Harlen in Am.....I just sounded out the chords by ear. I didn't know what key Patty or Darrell used. (never hear Brad Paisley's version)

I first heard Patty do the song and loved the tune so much that I bought her "Mountain Soul" CD (GREAT CD btw...that woman can sing!!)then one day I heard Darrell Scott's version and come to find out that he wrote it....KEWL!!!

I'll bring the song sheet with (my) cords to Fla-A-Duh!

I have the words and chords that sound pretty good. I'll try to make some copies at work tomorrow and add them to "the book".(thank's Zilla")
