Your persistence is commendable/scary but it works
Thanks for all your hard work, and for allowing an electronic payment for those of us who procrastinate and know how slow snail mail is

Over the years I have maintained meticulous records on the sale of the OFC Calendars. Therefore, it’s not difficult to cross reference my lists and see which “regular” OFC members, who have purchased the calendar twice before but have not ordered one this year.
It would be tacky in extreme bad taste to list their names. Under pressure from Tupperware I have, on occasion, been known to embrace “tacky”. But “bad taste” is a line I will not cross. Instead I have assigned code names to these members.
In no particular order they are…..
1) Binky Sipowitz
2) Ethel Shintowski
3) Lenny “Backdoor” Levin
4) Mary Tyler-Moore
5) Phil Inthrapic
6) Bond…. James Bond
7) Benny “Tightstrings” Bridgestone
8) Perry Bolic
9) James T. Kirk
10) Bob Taylor

If we can get these guys / gals and just a couple more newbies going we’ll be in great shape.

For the life of me, I can't figure out which of these people is supposed to be me. If it's Bob Taylor, I'm gonna launch a formal protest.

So Brad, ummm, when was the last time you embraced Tacky ....

Brad, I think you missed a few...

11) Juan Menudo
12) Imelda Czech
13) Anita Weekmore

Dave, ethnically speaking, I figure you gotta be #1 or #2. My bet's on Ethel.

I don't recognize my name, probably because I only bought one calendar, but I'll be Imelda Czech soon.

It is in the mail. Really. I knew there was something I was going to do for the last month. Got a lot of other stuff done, though, that I thought about when I was trying to remember what I was supposed to do.

Okay... truth be told, I did not really go though the sales records to determine who had and who had not ordered a new calendar. I confess that it was just another marketing ploy, in a long line of marketing ploys, to keep this once a year project on everyones radar.
Keeping that in mind, as the next ten orders come in I'm gonna update youz guyz as to whose name we can remove from my totally fabricated list.
And the first to check in is......
drum roll please....
BINKY SIPOWITZ.... aka: Fugot.
Thanks Mike!!!

I want to be deleted from the list above. Therefore I just sent payment. What is my code name?

Karl

PS. Love your publicity ploys. Please keep at it.

First we got a bunch of OFC lovin' goin' out to ETHEL SHINTOWSKI... aka: Brad Meilink.... aka: BluesSailor

Then a big shout-out goes all the way across the pond to my main man, that cat with the smokin' blues licks, MR. LENNY "BACKDOOR" LEVIN... aka: Charlie Ramon... aka: Kurt.

FYI: Sales across both ponds are looking good while USA sales are seeing a downward trend.

Well.... MARY TYLER-MOORE (aka: Mark in Boise)has checked in with a cheque.
Sorry about the girlie name there Mark. Someone had to end up with it. It's just my luck that a high powered attorney landed on that place on the game board.

I can see it now. I'm at next years tour. At the ski lodge. As Brian & I walk up for our set, Mark's hired thug (Paul Moody), blocks my path and serves me with lawsuit papers claiming malicious slander and causing a major gender indentification crisis.

I'm screwed.

I think if you look back at last year's headliners, you'll probably see that the gender identification crisis line has already been crossed. And malicious slander is an everyday occurance around here so both are pretty much grandfather'd, Brad. Add to that the chances that Moody'll even find you are probably pretty slim, I'd say you've got no problems at all!

Okay... I just heard from Phil Inthrapic! A generous order, just as the name would imply. However "Phil" should have been listed as "Phyllis" (aka: Jewel's Mom - aka: Karen)
.
And also Bond... James Bond has checked in. (aka: Tupperware or Standing Ovation or Taky or "That Weird Guy" or UKE-MAN!!!)
Interesting that Dave came up as Bond. They are really very alike. Traveling to far off exotic places (Utah?) on assignment. Flawlessly taking on other indentitys such as "French Guy" and the very popular "Hula Gal". I marvel at how he is able to hide his sauve, cool, secret agent abilities behind that akward, short-minded, Clark Kent kinda guy that he only shows to us.
BTW.. did Dave ever tell you the story about the time that his Hula Girl personna worked just a little to well? I think it has been de-classified. See.... he was on double secret assignment at a bar in Amsterdam. His job was to extract miltary secrets from a group of vacationing Sumo wrestlers. Things where going pretty well until some guy snuck up behind him and... well... Dave tells the story much better. Ask 'em sometime.

I just caught up on this thread. At least I don't wear (or need) a bra, cocoanut or otherwise.
I must confess that my wife is out of town and I tried her new bra that came in the mail. It was too big for me, but fit nicely on her new Cayman.
