Hi gang.

Remember about 6 months ago I played around with setting up a local musicians' forum and some of you took a 'trial run' for me?

Well, the final version of the forum software I've been waiting for has now been released and my forum has gone 'live'.

I'd like some of you to have another look and offer suggestions and opinions.

For anyone running (or thinking of running) a forum, phpBB3 is very easy and eye-catching. A bit more sophisticated than phpbb2.

I believe you can even convert other BBs to phpBB3. (Miles, Al... )

Anyway, opinions and suggestions sought. I still need to design a 'cover' page, but... one thing at a time, eh?

Anyway, here is the link to my forum. Remember it's a local website, so there's not much sense in my overseas friends (ie, you lot) actually 'joining'.

Nice job. I'm planning to migrate the Tak forum from bb2 to bb3 this spring.

Good luck with it.

Muzza, good luck with the new forum. Looks pretty good to me.

I may have to look in every now and again, just to see what's up down under! :)

Well done Muzza. I'll have a look later tonight. Are you home yet or still in the Old Dart?

Well... Sunshine Coast Acoustic Guitar club would've been continually raided by the Drug Squad.

Then I thought about Sunshine Coast Acoustic Music club, but thought I'd get too many dodgy Nigerian members.

It HAD to be scac.

Yeah, Oz, I'm still here. Look at the 'from' just below my signature. I'm not returning to the world's most civilised climate until I've given all of Schroeder's O's and A's a thorough workout.

Hey James, I just got a glimpse of your sig. I'm going to have to arrange a trip to Brizzy when I get home to give your collection a workout too. You'll have to hide the Celibate, though. I'm a confirmed Connecticut O snob.

James, Watto and Arthur, I've enabled your accounts. I don't know why you're not getting the registration email, that side is automated. I need to investigate where its falling down.
