I have owned quite a few Ovations through years but still have my first. My trusty 1617 still plays like a dream although, like me, she has quite a few cracks and wrinkles. Now I use it mostly in the studio as I love the ovation sound. This is a great sight with knowledgable people. I am looking forward to this.

Another Colorado judge. Maybe you know ProfBB in Boulder?

Welcome, 1617's are great guitars. So are those Guilds and Takamines. May as well keep it all in the family.

Nope. I don't know ProfBB in Boulder. They started calling me the judge way back in high school because I drive a GTO. The handle stuck.
I love all of my toys. I bought all three guitars new and play the heck out of them. The Guild I bought in the 70's. The Ovation in the 80's and the Santa Fe in the 90's...Thanks for the welcomes!
