Here's my introduction ~. ~I'm going to be owning my first Adamas as my Christmas present for this year and I can't wait! Its a 1587-8. I'm hoping this will be the only guitar I will need! I will update when I actually get this guitar in my hands and really see how a deep bowl sounds. The only Ovation I've really played is the Applause, and thats what inspired me to move up! Such balanced tone and projection, perfect playability with ease... perfect for someone like me! And thats just a Korean made Applause, So the Adamas must be a dream!"

I hear string types can make a huge difference in the sounds in these guitars... I'll have to test it when I get it but a starting point would be nice. I'll post pics up when I can!"

Experiment, find something you like. Different strings seem to work better with different guitars and your taste in sound.

I was scared when I was expecting arrival all day lying in wait and finally came late into the night... Opened up the package in anticipation with the feeling of being a kid on Christmas morning! And what do you know everything was perfect! No shipping damages that I see (Thank God) and even better than I imagined! Such a beautiful instrument from the very first strum. Now I know how it feels to finally be a part of this Adamas family! Its just perfectly suited for my playing style, and I feel I can learn so much more from this piece of art; I feel honored. I just graduated college for Music Business and hope I can take my knowledge and create beautiful music for myself and others. Maybe NOW I can be accepted into the OFC ~.~"
