| Hi everyone. my name is Gene. I just got a new (for me) Ovation 12-string.
Is is model AA15, serial 110450, and was made Dec 11, 1980.
I did a little research after I bought it, (courtesy of Duck Duck Go) and this is whats wrong. Missing a bridge, (I just bought a bone replacement at Guitar Center), and strings. (got those too.)
The other obvious thing is the long cracks in the finish. All of them run from front to back.
I'd appreciate any pointers, threads I can read, etc.
Oh, and I read about the problems with the frets, they seem to be ok, with no grooves or marks.
