I just ordered one of these so I don't know how well it will work but it looked like it would be useful in looking around the inside of a guitar (it has built-in leds). It says they're for Windows only there might be software options available so it can be used with other operating systems. The shorter ones are out of stock, so I ordered the 7m one:

Location: Lake Forest, CA		I've got one of these. Even at $9.95, the quality of the video image is questionable. For looking around at the inside of a guitar a mechanic's mirror and flashlight is a better option.

The biggest problem is that the image size is a measly 640x480. (VGA)

Location: Thredbo, NSW, Australia		I've used one with a 640 x 480 resolution (see attached).

The quality isn't great, but you can move it around behind things to see the other side. I tried with a mirror, but couldn't quite see what I needed to see.

There some pretty poor repair attempts that had been done before I got the guitar. I fixed it and it now plays wonderfully.

I was thinking that 20 Feet of cable was bit much...
Then I realized that there would be plenty of cable to poke-around inside my guitar while plugged-into my computer sitting on my desk.
So hey... $10! How bad can it be?

Location: undisclosed		The wrong people use those too. My night cam picked up 2 local youth feeding one into my trailer so they could see inside.They like the extra length for exploration.

I saw, in another ebay listing for a similar camera, some attachments, one with a small magnet and another with a wire hook that could be used to pick up things. I can recall many times when I've dropped something into an otherwise inaccessible spot and could have used something like that. I think I'll fabricate some when I get my camera.
