Hi there. My current Ovation interest is centered around a friends damaged guitar (more on that later). Found this place while Googling for info. And having just watched the Glen Campbell documentary on Netflix, I realized how large Ovations loomed in my early 'guitar life' in the ealry 70's. We had an aluminum neck model that survived a flood of the Passiac River in NJ, and became a gift to a guitar-less buddy in Seattle; that guitar is quite literally indestructible. Anyway, looking forward to picking your brains and reading about the beloved bowlbacks.

Bob

It's almost indestructible... the frets eventually wear out and can't be replaced.

Welcome Bob.

What's up with the damaged guitar?
