I just finished looking and forgot to look for the horse wind chime. The guitars were too distracting.

Thanks a lot...

I Love horses, too. You can find them all over the house here. My last one, a mare, is owned by me now for 21 years. I can't ride her since 4 years now because she has knee issues. But she is still fit for now a 27 year old horse.

Next trip we're coming to see you Bernie. We'll have to find Karl (Charlie Ramon) and see if he remembers how to pronounce "vision". There was also an OFCer from Munich that was a frequent poster 5 to 10 years ago.

Are you thinking of Meuti, Mark? If memory serves (and it rarely does these days), he had both a Ute and a Ute12 in his closet. Always wanted to get my hands on a Ute12...

It could be, but that doesn't sound right. My memory is getting worse and was never good. Whoever it was, I got some advice on where to look for Ovations in Munich, but he wasn't around when I was there. Karl met us up in Rothenburg and we jammed for 4 hours with his Adamases. I was tired from playing and from straining to read from his little book of American songs, but it was great fun. Somebody took a picture of us with all the empty glasses in front of us. Karl only drank water.

Mark, "König Kurt" lives in Munich, and if I'm right he has a 12 string UTE. Meuti lives in Hanau, thats near Frankfurt, he has a 12er UTE as well. I've played it...... wow!!!! Stunning guitar!!
Karl is visiting me frequently here when he is on business trips in the area. He is a much better player than me and a wonderful singer of Beatles songs... and we almost have great evenings together.
When you come to Germany, maybe I can manage a little gathering here....

Kurt was the name I was trying to remember. We haven't heard from him in a long time. We've been to Germany twice and SWMBO probably thinks we should go someplace else, but we've liked Germany more than any other European country we've visited. Maybe a wine tour would entice her. We're not much for horses, except for the ones on the front of the cars from Stuttgart.

My horse died some years back during a rough patch that would make a good country song. Lets see, the car broke down, my folks ran over my dog, my gal ran off with other men (plural) and my ranch was stolen by truly evil people...... On the positive progressive rock side karma did a lot to clean the slate as the world works in mysterious ways....

Hi, bburg,
AWH, No fair, eh? None of my Ovations ever came with a castle, and river behind it. The closest I've got is Le Citadel in Quebec City. I may have to move.
