My bucket list includes building 3-4 dream guitars.   Luthier's tools are VERY expensive, so I ordered this book from the Amazon...

"Acoustic Guitar Making..How to make Tools, Templates, and Jigs"  by Brian Forbes.   He almost surely a Brit, and a few of his terms can be confusing at first, but you can work it out.   Many of the tools are useful for building and repairing solid body guitars as well.   500 pages.  And heavily dog-ear'd already.   Highly recommended.

Thanks for the tip. I'll have to pick up a copy.
