I was so impressed by the cream-white Legend that I saw on this site but I´m a 12string player. Believe it or not, just acouple of days later there was a white 12string elite on ebay, not a real bargain but a reasonable price.
I had to do a lot of cleaning, make a neck-reset and some adjustments and now the guitar is in very good shape again, straight neck, ultra-low action and this irresistible Elite sound. I put some cream-white knobs on the tuning machines, what do you think?

Very pretty and I like the backdrop, too. Compliments to your gardener.

Beautiful. I have it's skinnier SSB cousin in the same pearl white and about the same age. It plays like a dream.

What an awesome looking guitar. No doubt she matches her looks in sound.

Seeing that makes me want to eat a butter frosting sweet roll... oh, and to listen to your guitar in that cool, inviting garden too. Looking good. Real good.

Yes, a 1758. Built on a Monday morning. I found curiously drilled holes for the neck bolts (under a piece of tape) so that the lower screw even was about to work loose. I filled the hole with strong epoxy.

The brass trussrod screw was mounted so tight under the top that it caused a crack at that point and I had to file it cone-shaped, because I had to correct the wrong neck angle a wee bit so that the strings have now normal pressure on the pickup again (3 Ovation shims).

The last owner did obviously not play the guitar for a longer time, and thus all the freat did show green corrosion, but that was only superficial, not structural. But after all the ordeal the guitar turned out to be a REALLY great sounding and (now) easy playing guitar, string action E11th 2,25mm, neck relief ca. 0.8 mm.

I forgot to mention, it´s an earlier model and it has a wonderful rosewood fretboard unlike the later Elites.

The rosewood looks better on the -6Ps for sure. My 6 and 12 SSB have some great striping on them
