Mint condition, aside from a tiny little finish scuff. This one was played only a couple of times and rarely left the case, never left the house. Not many of these out there as they are extremely rare from my understanding. Don't really want to sell this one, but if someone wants it then so be it. Asking $1200.

Wow....love the burst finish! Very nice. These always seemed like they'd make the perfect travel guitar.

I love these little guys. Wish I could jump in the pool.

Good luck with the sale!

This is a beautiful, rare guitar that someone here should go for. Ovation parlors are rare by themselves, but in a burst, it's crazy! I should probably sell mine and buy this one, but I'm not in buying mode.

Beautiful! I love the smaller guitars. I have a Baby Taylor that I use on our travel trailer trips and also for gigs with my ukulele group.

Thank you stellarjim, it really is amazing and probably would make a perfect travel guitar! I always blows me away that so much sound and depth can come from such a small guitar.

I love them too Patch, and thank you! I really didn't want to sell this one, but there seems to be no interest in the Adamas #47 RI or Mandocello.

You should get it Mark, then I can just come over and play it whenever I miss her haha!

Thank you BCam, it is gorgeous, this one showed me that even smaller guitars can roll with the best of them!

Hi Samuels:
What's the pre amp arrangement for this Parlor? Or is it acoustic only?
I'm trying not to love this guitar but .....

Hi stellarjim,

It has an OP-24-E on it. That's actually the reason I got this one instead of the traditional 1997 collector's, I was not a fan of the Touch Sensitive volume control it had.

I wonder how this sounds compared to the 12 fret version (1997 collector). Has anybody here owned both at the same time?

I didn't notice it was a 14 fretter. Sam and I need to get together and compare the 14 and 12 and see if we can tell the difference. I suspect there wouldn't be much difference because of the smaller body anyway.

Hi Dave, I was nosy about the same thing and once I read that these are widenecks, but the specs are saying narrow neck, so nothing for me...

The 97 Collectors came as both a wide neck and a regular neck width. It was also a slothead, 12 fret. This guitar, above, was a production model (only was in production for a year or so). I think they were all regular neck width......

There was a similar sunburst parlor at Alison's OFC get together a few years back. The volume and depth of tone from the smaller body is very impressive. It is a great sounding Ovation in its own right. I'd love to see them bring it back as a production model.
