Can someone tell me if those instruments used the Kaman bar system in the neck?

Thanks!

Most likely depending on how early. After around 2004 most models were converted to LX necks until production got moved to Asia and AX models were designated. You can tell by the weight of the neck - Kaman bar pretty heavy, LX neck much lighter.

If it doesn't have a truss rod cover on the headstock, it's a K-bar.

Although, if it has a truss rod cover, but due to weight you think it might have a k-bar, check to make sure the truss rod cover is not just decorative. It was a great way to put your name a signature on a guitar back in the day.
