Hi All. Newbie here.

I've been looking at a few vintage Ovations lately, and I'm interested in finding a 1111-1 or 1112 balladeer.

I have found a 1979 Balladeer model 1112, and it's sunburst. My question is about the neck.
The neck looks like a solid mahogany instead of the laminated 5 piece neck, that is normally seen.

Does anyone know if this was common, or did they make some that way?

Any help would greatly be appreciated.
Thanks in advance.

After a search, it looks like that there is no truss rod cover at the headstock, so from what I have read, it's probably a 2 piece neck with the karman bar, or bolt on neck.

Would anyone know if these are still with X bracing with that type of neck?

I haven't looked at the Guitar in person yet, just a few pictures.

Again, any knowledge, or info on this particular model would greatly be appreciated.

Many Thanks.
Wyatt
