| Hi Everyone, I really don't have a specific question. though I do seek to learn much information about all things Ovation. I have always been an Ovation lover since I was a kid. My Uncle was a songwriter and owned a studio in Muscle Shoals in the 60s and he always played an Ovation. For a little background I am 52 years old I have been playing instruments (guitar, bass, saxophone) for 43 years, its just in my blood. I'm pretty much a bad *** bass player and a hack on guitar.  Of late I have had a desire to return to some acoustic playing and singing with my daughter so I wanted to jump back in the Ovation pool. Some years ago I purchased a new Custom Legend single cut that I played many years until the head stock was broken. I got it repaired and sold it. I just recently picked up a 2008 "Assembled in Connecticut" Ultra that I'm loving though I'm interested in obtaining more Ovations. I'm pretty much burned out on the whole band thing and wanted to start pursuing some things with my daughter. She is 19 and one hell of a Vocalist so we have decided to team up and do a duo thing. Not sure where it will go we just enjoy music. Anyway I plan on hanging out here if you guys will put up with me. | |||
