Hello all,

The glue used originally for the pictured rubber leg pad (not sure of the correct nomenclature) has softened which allows the rubber pad to fall open and/or twist in place. I found I can remove the old sticky glue residue with a dab of vegetable oil and a soft cloth which causes no discoloration. I am considering removing the rubber pad completely and after cleaning it and the body up I'd re-glue it back it place. I am not sure however as to what type of glue was used originally or if anyone can suggest a glue type that will securely hold the rubber pad in place all things considered. I will attempt to add a photo in a second post if I can figure out how to do that. Any input would be greatly appreciated.

R/John

Just peel it off.
After removing it and cleaning the spot you can decide if you really need to replace it.

If you decide that you need some traction there, you can get some Traction Tape

You can get this or something similar at a local store or online.
I hope that this is helpful.
