Does anyone have experience as to which of these two guitars would be best for heavier strings and drop C tuning? I know both will work because I have the D-Scale version for drop A# tuning. That is a Mid Depth body and I use 14-62 gauge strings. I have read the Contour back has a fuller, more acoustic sound. But does the Mid Depth produce a faster attack which would assist with the brighting up the lower tuning? I am just yet to find a Contour back guitar in a shop to figure this out. Or how much if any is there a tone difference? The mid depth cost a few bucks more, yet all the signature models and other elites use contour back. Can never figure this out, why the mid depth cost more.

Thank you
