Thank You.

There is also an Ovation Guitar group, Ovation Instruments Collectors' Board, and the factory Ovation page.
All of which have caused a lack of attendance on this site.

We do seem to lacking some of the pizazz which was here a few short years ago. And I remain a short timer!

I believe that Al & Miles’s intentions for this forum are a lot more honorable (and transparent) than Mark Zuckerburg’s, so this remains my preferred Ovation hangout…

Here’s the way I see it.

I don’t have a preferred hangout. I’ll go anywhere I can read about and exchange ideas with anyone with whom I share a common interest. On the other Ovation groups I’ve encountered, this place is spoken of with reverence and inevitably cited as the place to find an authoritative answer to questions about Ovations.

The response I see here is, frankly, surprising, but there we are. As for me, I see no reason to change anything I do with respect to speaking to others about Ovations or any guitar; nor do I encourage or expect anyone here to alter his habits. My initial post was informational only. I make no apology.

I generally use the Ovation related FB groups by phone and use this OFC forum when I am anchored to my computer ... although the line is getting a bit blurred blurred.

easier to post pictures over there so I've been posting my for sales over there. There are people over there who never come here, just like some of you never do face book. This, the OFC isn't what it was but all things change with time

Bulletin boards are less popular than when we started this back in the early 2000’s

With thAt, this source is far more accurate and honest that the Facebook
I was recently called out as not giving correct information on Facebook
Yet I tend to think I’m a rather reliable source

FB is ok for a quickie. But...just try to reference any past post over there...it is like trying to find a tissue in a tornado. That is the real power of this forum. A lot of important information is easily accessed. This is why the OFC remains and will stay relevant in a social networking world.
