Hi All,
Attached is the photo's of my new acquisition ... a 2003 Celebrity Elite CS 247.
Its not American made .... but it is in beautiful condition and has that superb sound that's a hallmark of
this quality instrument .... OK I'm biased.
My apologies photo's do not do it justice.
Cheers
Baggy

Here in Australia S/Hand Ovations are as rare as rocking horse sh*#
I seen one guitar shop selling low end new applause from china ... in fact I went and had a look at it before purchasing this one S/Hand.
The difference in quality ... finish ... and weight of guitar was like chalk and cheese.
It was the only S/Hand one for sale on the West Coast of Australia .... the owner had put it up "for sale" in our local on line paper.
Luckily .... for me the photo was terrible ... it had been sitting there since Sept 2018 ...... and I came across it in Jan 2019
I really don't think the previous owners whole heart was in it to sell but I offered him full price even though it'd not even strummed
it or played it ... it had a flat 9 volt battery so couldn't check pre-amp or turner.
Replaced the battery ... plugged it into a small amp and it works a treat.
I'm trying to make up for a 38 year gap since first trying to play a guitar .... one bonus with age is commitment.
I've learned more in the last 6 months than I did in two years in my 20's and I practice for an hour (minimum) most nights.
Even with my average playing ability this lovely instrument is very forgiving and it sounds just so ..... sweet.
Coming across this forum ...... the cherry on the cake.
