| Hi there! I've been a longtime Ovation fan - I learned to play on a 1970's Ovation that belongs to my grandfather - but, as of this week, finally acquired one of my own, a 1978 Ovation Anniversary. This seems like a lovely community and I look forward to diving into the collective knowledge of these forums. I'm definitely looking for some guidance with my new Ovation - its the first acoustic I've had of any decent value, as well as my first Ovation I can call my own so I'm eager to be sure I'm doing the right things to keep it in excellent shape.
Thanks! |

| What a beauty! I snagged mine at Guitar Center for $400, seemed like a pretty good deal to me considering the shape it was in. Sounds and feels great, I do a lot of fingerpicking and it’s just remarkably comfortable and projects so well. |
