Hi found this board while researching info on a Celebrity CC268.
This is my 3rd Ovation made guitar.
My 1st was a new Breadwinner I bought back around 1979 or 1980.
I have Gibsons, Fenders and some others but the Breadwinner is still my favorite.
1st off, I am a guitar hog, put not a great player. LOL
I just bought a guitar listed as a Celebrity CC268. Looks to be in decent shape except for maybe a finish crack but for the price I had to have it.
My question is identifying the model number.
Looking at all the brochures shown on the Ovation Tribute web site the CC268 has chrome tuners and 15 dots.
The picture of the guitar I bought looks like gold tuners and only 9 dots/diamonds.
The guitar is still in the mail so I can not check the serial number yet.
It is due in Friday. (Going to be a looooong week.) LOL
I'll repost again after I get the guitar to help nail it dow.
But if any one has any input on the CC268 I would appreciate it.
