 | Hello everyone, :heart_lg:
 A newbie here, :smile_lg:

Not english as mother language, please forgive me any linguistic mistake!

I have 2 Ovation (actually a Ovation Balladeer and a Celebrity) and I have the chance to recover and repair a (presumedly) american made Ovation .

The top has been badly painted, I cannot put the pictures right here because it can cause eye illness, :frown_lg: :frown_lg: :frown_lg:

The inner stickers have been affected by BAD painting and model and serial number are illegible. There is a clear Ovation decal on the headstock and you can read somethig like "Made in CT USA " through the only big soundhole , just between the stickers,

The fretboard has a strange, at least for me, combination of diamonds and circles

I will try to upload pics to this.

I need to know the model and how to safely "unpaint" the body.

 Thank you !

 | After some work inside the body, and reading the stick,
It is a CS 157-1, Made in Korea. The bowl could be made in USA.
