Hi,
I have a Standard Balladeer that I am having problems with when plugged in.

Sometimes it works great then other times the preamp or pickup cuts in and out. It is making a loud banging distortion sound, much like if you have a guitar lead that has a bad connection that cuts in the

I have changed the battery and when changing the strings pulled out the pickup and checked that everything is connected correctly.

It might be the connection of the preamp to the body.

Anyone else have this issue or can help?
Thanks
