I am very happy to join the group of Ovation guitar enthusiasts! I just bought an Ovation 1717 guitar from 1987 and have a few questions about its condition. Two things I immediately noticed were a broken guitar head and a missing black element on the bridge. My questions are: how can I repair this damaged headstock (by using epoxy resin?) or better to give it to a luthier? And the second question: where can I buy this missing black element of the saddle on the bridge? I searched for it on the Internet and did not find it. I will certainly have more questions, for now, these two.
Greetings,
