I'm thinking about purchasing a new acoustic. My "go-to" acoustic is an Eastman PCH, which sounds good acoustically, but requires excessive equalization to sound good plugged in. I also have a medical pump in my abdomen that makes playing traditional acoustics uncomfortable after long periods. The round bodies of Ovations are much better for me.

I have an old Applause that sounds horrible acoustically, but pretty dang good when plugged in, and is very comfortable.

I'm beginning to search for an Ovation that sounds fairly "traditional" acoustically, with decent volume. I'm sure it will sound good plugged in, because, well... Ovation.

I'm going to enjoy browsing the forums. My city only had one music store (I'm in Montana), and they don't carry Ovations, so, getting my hands on one will be difficult.
