| I couldn't agree more with the "Manifesto". I will have questions, in which search I found this group, and may even have answers a time or two. Mainly though I am a fan of Ovation guitars from the first time I swept my fingers across the strings with a sharp intake of breath at the tone.
I own two AE-28 Applause series guitars at this time, amongst a constantly changing array of other instruments which includes guitars. At one time I had enough equipment to outfit a small orchestra, which was during the time my English-2 professor and I founded the "Open Music Club" at Hartnell College in Salinas California. I have since given away most of those instruments and then some to deserving recipients in search of their musical talent.
I have lots of stories to tell about this life journey in music, such as the searchers in the Wizard of Oz, where each was seeking an admirable personal trait.
I chose for my stage name "The Tin Man", because he was searching for his heart! Well he found it in music.
Glad to be here and look forward to many desirable exchanges of thought in this forum.
