Hi Folks!

Just new to this site.

I have just purchased a secondhand Breadwinner it is my second Breadwinner that I have owned and really regretted ever selling the first one.

This new (old) one has a very noisy hiss in it that I didn't have on the other one.
What I do notice is that you have to have the tone control on 10 other wise when you back it off it gets worse.

I have checked the battery connections and it all seems fine.

Any ideas?
Perhaps this is a common problem?
I don't want to swap out the preamp as it is the sound I am looking for and don't want it to sound just like any other guitar.
Cheers
Rovi
