Hello fellow Ovation players!

I've just recently started having some "crackling" issues with the volume pot on my pre-amp, which is an OP24 (the older simple 3-band type, not OP24+).

Actually it's not so much the usual pot crackling I've encountered on electric guitars.... more like the signal cutting out and a kind of intermittent "interference" sound a bit like RF or EM noise, accompanied by crackling.

I've removed and dismantled the pre-amp, allowing me to get some switch cleaner directly into the back of the pot... which has helped greatly, it no longer cuts out and the volume works ok... but, there's still this interference sound coming and going, which disappears when I wiggle the knob, but then comes back again randomly.

So... I'm keen to try replacing the pot, but have no idea what to replace it with -- there was no indication on the back as to whether it's a log or linear pot, or the ohms rating. Also, it's a long, smooth shaft pot.

Anyone suggest a place I could get the correct pot?
